About the publication
The business behind defense.
Military Contractor explains how defense companies are built, financed, contracted, scaled, and judged.
What Military Contractor covers
Military Contractor is an independent publication about the companies, contracts, capital, manufacturing systems, and technologies that make up the defense industry. It follows the path from company formation and product strategy through acquisition, funding, production, delivery, and public-company accounting.
The publication is designed for founders, executives, investors, suppliers, analysts, journalists, researchers, and serious readers who need the business record, not tactical spectacle or press-release shorthand.
What it does not cover
This is not a job board, recruiting service, contractor directory, political-commentary outlet, weapons-use guide, or corporate marketing site. It does not publish controlled, classified, proprietary, procurement-sensitive, personal, or operationally harmful information.
How the work is built
Articles begin with recoverable primary records. Contract notices, award databases, budget exhibits, court decisions, GAO reports, statutes, and SEC filings establish the factual spine. Company announcements are used for the company’s own claims and labeled as such.
The organizational byline is Military Contractor Editorial. It does not imply firsthand operational experience. Read the editorial policy and source standard for the full method.
